Isao Machii the Jedi

Isao Machii is a Japanese man with superhuman reflexes, which he stereotypically uses to do all sorts of amazing tricks with a katana, including peeling an apple and cutting an Airsoft pellet in half in midair.

We can all sort of do this, obviously -- catching a ball when somebody throws it to you requires you to anticipate where it's going. A baseball player, with practice, gets so good at it that he can hit a fastball coming in at 90 mph. But he's still doing it by sight -- years of practice have taught him that the trajectory of the ball can be predicted by how it looks leaving the pitcher's hand. The difference is that Machii's brain is wired so that he can hit things that are moving too fast to see.

The following video is from a show that is very, very Japanese, but it showcases many of Machii's abilities quite well

Daniel Dunglas Home (ability to levitate to a variety of heights, speak with the dead)

Daniel Dunglas Home (pronounced 'Hume') (March 20, 1833 – June 21, 1886) was a Scottish physical medium with the reported ability to levitate to a variety of heights, speak with the dead, and to produce rapping and knocks in houses at will. His biographer Peter Lamont opines that he was one of the most famous men of his era. Harry Houdini described him as 'one of the most conspicuous and lauded of his type and generation'. Home conducted hundreds of séances, which were attended by many eminent Victorians.

Lord Buddha

According to the scriptures, magic is a supernormal, unlimited, unimaginable power attained during meditation practice. We often believe that only the Buddha, Bodhisattvas, gods or fairies have magical or supernatural power. In actuality, ghosts and demons can also have magical power. We humans have magical power, too. Magic is not limited to the unusual acts of causing rain and storms or riding on clouds. Magic is everywhere in our lives.

Magical wonders are all around us. How many types of magical powers are recorded in the Buddhist scriptures? According to the most common classification, there are six main categories. These are celestial vision, celestial hearing, the power of knowing others’ minds, the power of performing miracles, the power of knowing past lives, and the power of eradicating all defilement.

Real World Telekinesis (feat. Neil Turok)

Nina Kulagina

Nina Kulaginawas a Russian woman who claimed to have psychic powers, particularly in psychokinesis. Academic research of her phenomenon was conducted in the USSR for the last twenty years of her life.

Kulagina, who was born in 1926, joined the Red Army at 14, entering its tank regiment during World War II, but she was a housewife at the time that her alleged psychic abilities were studied and she entered international discourse in the 1960's. During the Cold War, silent black-and-white films of her appearing to move objects on a table in front of her without touching them, were produced. These films were allegedly made under controlled conditions for Soviet authorities and caused excitement for many psychic researchers around the world, some of whom believed that they represented clear evidence for the existence of psychic phenomena. According to reports from the Soviet Union, forty scientists, two of whom were Nobel laureates, studied Kulagina. InInvestigating PsychicsLarry Kettlekamp reports that Mikhailova was filmed separating broken eggs that had been submerged in water, moving apart the whites and yolks, during which event such physical changes were recorded as accelerated and altered heartbeatbrain waves and electromagnetic field. To ensure that external electromagnetic impulses did not interfere, she was placed inside of a metal cage while she supposedly demonstrated an ability to remove a marked matchstick from a pile of matchsticks under a glass dome.

Miroslaw Magola The Magnetic man

This Magnetic man can stick objects to his body simply using thought-power. He defies gravity, moving heavy items from the floor to his body and then creates a force to keep them there. Miroslaw Magola is a man with an unusual gift; he can lift objects off the floor, transport them through the air and force them to stick to his body - all using the power of his mind. The objects can be anything from metal pans to marble statues, and weight seems to be no problem.

The Magic Of Human Brain

Every component, even the tiny cells of human body are marvelous creations of nature. The human brain is superior to all the other organs because its function is not only confined to the physical activities of body, rather, it exists as the source and representative of the linkage between the individual and the cosmic consciousness. The apparent activities of the gross body as well as the latent potentials of a human being are governed by the conscious and unconscious mind. In view of its infinite capabilities and constant connection with the cosmic consciousness, the human brain (mind) can be regarded as powerful as the eternal linkage between the soul and the divine Supreme.
